We bought this house because we fell in love with the land first: three wooded acres at the end of a quiet street, with a creek running along the edge and the Housatonic River just a minute away. It felt like the kind of place folks spend years trying to find. We're working to one day retire here, hopefully sooner than later!

We've been hosting for over a year now, and what guests tell us they appreciate most is feeling at ease. That's the goal - a home that's stocked, comfortable, and easy to settle into. The memory foam mattresses, the fully equipped kitchen, the dry firewood bag kept dry just inside the home's entrance ready to go for the pit — it's all there so you can focus on why you came.

We live nearby and are genuinely available if anything comes up. Via AirBnB app's chat, text or call - we'll be answering. But most guests find everything they need and spend their days hiking the trails, sitting around the fire, and forgetting to look at their phones. That's exactly what we hope for.

Your thankful hosts,

Michael & Ping
